Wednesday 11	Wednesday November 11th Veterans Day - Show of Flags -- 8:00 a.m. SHOW OUR VETERANS HOW MUCH YOU APPRECIATE THEM. Sponsor an American Flag in memory of or in honor of a special veteran or active service person. Your honoree's name will be placed on a ribbon and attached to a flagpole that will line the entrance and parking lot of our funeral home. Sponsorship fee is $25 per flag or 5 for $100. Monday 30	Monday November 30th Reflections: The American Funeral -- 10:00 a.m. Heritage Funeral Home and Maury Memorial Gardens proudly bring to you a mobile exhibit, Reflections: The American Funeral. The American Funeral explores the traditions of the funeral industry, funerary art and practices, funerals of famous people, mourning customs and encourages further study in this field. A powerful exhibit of history such as the cross country procession for Abraham Lincoln, the funeral of Martin Luther King, the national outpouring of grief for Elvis Presley, John F. Kennedy, and many others. The exhibit is FREE and will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 30th and Tuesday, December 1st. We kindly ask for groups of 15 or more that you call and schedule a time to avoid having several large groups standing in line.
